Facet · Know your machine
A clearer view of your hardware.
Facet is a native hardware explorer for Linux, built in Rust. See your components, device connections, and live readings, then export a report. Your hardware information stays on your machine.

Inside Facet
Every component, in context.
Start with an overview, then explore your processor, memory, graphics, storage, network, displays, peripherals, and power sensors. Readable summaries lead to the technical detail, while device connections show how hubs, docks, displays, and GPUs fit together.
Search across your hardware, copy a value, or export a text or JSON report for support. Live monitoring follows temperatures, memory, and battery readings with short trend charts. On Omarchy, an optional bar widget keeps useful readings close at hand.
Facet shows where its data comes from and explains unavailable readings. It reads hardware information without changing settings, sends no hardware data elsewhere, and hides serial numbers, UUIDs, and MAC addresses by default, including in reports.

Getting started
Make yourself at home.
The installer supports Arch Linux and Omarchy packages, or a source build into your own directory on other Linux systems. Facet has been verified on an Arch / Omarchy Wayland laptop and tested with fixture machines; hardware support varies, and some firmware details require administrator access. The repository has current requirements, installation options, and known limits.
